Mezzo-Soprano Erika Vasallo will be singing the role of Leonora in Alessandro Scarlatti’s Il trionfo dell’onore.

“The FIU Opera Theater presents a rare staging of Alessandro Scarlatti’s only known comic buffa, ‘Il trionfo dell’onore’ ("The Triumph of Honor"). This cheeky musical comedy, composed in 1718, tells the story and comeuppance of a notorious womanizing lord, Riccardo Albenori, as he faces a series of duel challenges, fights, complaints, and accusations.
